5. Boosts immunity and controls blood pressure

Whether you learned about it in science class or have been told by your nutritionist, it’s a well-known fact that orange boosts immunity. However, it’s not just vitamin C that helps several other nutrients also contributes.
Oranges are a rich source of vitamin B6, Riboflavin, thiamin, niacin, magnesium, copper and even phosphorus. What do all of these things have in common?

They all absorb other nutrients better; of course, there are other benefits too, like how magnesium is good for controlling your blood pressure.
Vitamin B6 helps to reduce depression and improve your mood. At the same time, copper works together with iron to increase the production of red blood cells in your body so if you happen to be someone who is prone to infections or have hypertension; this should be your go-to fruit just make sure that you don’t eat too many oranges, you don’t want to increase your body’s acidity.

6. It Promotes brain development

After the age of 25, we begin losing a lot of brain cells; this is not something you need to worry about if you consume oranges. They contain folate and folic acid that helps to promote the growth of brain cells; this increases the rate that newer cells form replacing older cells.

It’s not just for adults it’s helpful for people of all ages many experts believe that eating oranges while pregnant could help the child avoid neurological problems in the future, in the case of older people it helps with memory retention.
For kids and teenagers oranges help to maintain steady development of the brain, so eat those oranges whenever you can get your hands on them once again they are acidic, so I wouldn’t recommend eating too many of them at once.
